Our Journey

Founded in 2015, BODIMAX is a South Korean home gym fitness brand that has carved a strong presence in Indonesia. We began our journey by introducing our first product, the Running Machine (home treadmill), through TV Home Shopping channels like O-Channel (a subsidiary of EMTEK Group/SCTV). This strategic move positioned BODIMAX as an affordable and accessible home gym solution, especially for households in the Greater Jakarta area.

Recognizing the rising potential of Indonesia’s home fitness market, our Founder & CEO Shawn Kim took bold steps to expand the brand—building a robust brand ecosystem, strengthening our marketing strategy, and diversifying our product range to include static bikes, strength training tools, and more.

Journey to the Top of Indonesian Fitness

During the global pandemic, health became a top priority. As public spaces closed, the demand for home workout solutions skyrocketed. BODIMAX seized this moment to meet the needs of Indonesians by offering smart, space-saving, and stylish fitness equipment designed for home use.

Today, we’re not just online—we’re also present offline in 35 stores across 10 major cities, including partnerships with leading department stores like SOGO, SEIBU, AEON, LOTTE, STAR, and RAMBLA. Our products are also available on Indonesia’s top e-commerce platforms: Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop, and Blibli.

In 10 years, we’ve sold over 2 million units across 30+ product lines, establishing BODIMAX as a top brand in the home gym fitness category.
